Question by Mephisto: What career options do you have after taking an MBA?
Let’s assume I took a BBA then an MBA.
Do I have to start my own business, do I work under someone else. What do I do?
Any help and elaboration will be appreciated.

It’s up to you. In a good MBA program, you will improve your knowledge on business administration and decision taken, and depending on the business school you’ll attend, they will focus on Marketing, Financial, Business Networking, General Management etc.
About having your own business, you will have the knowledge to do that, but in practice, it will depend in various factors outside MBA program: Your entrepreneur spirit, start up assets (or financial aids you can get), previous knowledge of the business field you want to get into, etc. If at the end of your MBA, you don’t have enough working experience, maybe the best would be start working for a company, and after getting enough field experience, start planning your own business.
You can also choose to work for a company, growing into it (in terms of knowledge and positions), and being successful as an executive officer or manager.
Both are good choices with pros and cons, and it’s really up to you what you would like to do. There is no magical formula or solution on this.
