I am thinking about getting an NEX-5 but i cant decide whether to get the NEX-5K or NEX-5H.? I mainly shoot urban/architectual style photos with a few still life close ups in between. I’m very into using full manual mode and want to know if its worth to upgrade to the 5H for the extra length. Help me out guys.

When i select playback in the histrogram mode, i notice that the image starts to blink (in form of white patches) in dark areas & bright areas. I wonder if this is? normal. Previously i dont think i encounter this before. If this is normal, are there any way to disable this blinking function? thanks!

Despite the aperture being able to? go down to F2.8 on the 16mm, I find the 18-55mm F3.5 lens brighter and better for video.

I was told the 16mm is better. I just got a nex which am selling on ebay because I just cant stand silver cameras so I am getting the black one. In the? booklet that came with the camera it says the larger lens is suitable for video but for the 16mm it says its optimized for video so that would make it better.

Is the smaller lens better for vids? or the 18-55 mm One?

nex 3 the nex 5 is only better because it shoots in 1080p video and the grip is bigger but the video on the nex 3? is still hd at 720p so unless you really care about VIDEO qaulity just get the nex 3

Hey guys, should I get the nex 3 or save up? for the 5? I want a small compact Dale camera that can shoot great video and pics. So I wanna ask Qs, 1st, can both cameras connect to a wireless remote, is it worth the upgrade between the two, and would the nex 3 be just fine for hd video for after effects, final cut and etc.

Thanks for your query, you can buy? a Sony NEX Fish-eye converter (VCL-ECF1), which has to be attached to the 16mm ‘pancake’ lens (SEL16F28) to increase your field of view. Please be aware the the fish-eye converter is NOT compatible with the standard zoom lens SEL1855.

that looks so? cool , wow i just ordered it yesterday, im so geeked about it!… i’ve been trying 2 ask people certain things about it.. like with the macro lens.. does anybody know if u need the Sony Alpha LAEA1 Mount Adaptor to use the macro lens..?
