Woman tries to ride motorized scooter up escalator ‘Caught on Tape’
A woman trying to board an escalator at one of the MBTA’s Red Line stations on Friday took a spill backwards in her motorized wheelchair, causing it to flip over her head, before riders and T staff rushed to her aid. The MBTA released the video, following an announcement that the agency plans on installing thousands more cameras throughout the system with the help of millions of dollars in Federal Grants.

there are usually signs on escalators that tell you what shouldn’t be on them. also, there’s common sense about what shouldn’t be on them. like a motorized? chair whose wheel base is larger than an escalator stair. sorry she fell and all but it’s a lesson learned the hard way.
